Bruno is a one-two year-old Shih Tzu mix. He weighs approximately fifteen pounds. He was listed as a Shih Tzu mix, but we are uncertain of his actual breed. His breed should be adorable! Bruno was brought into a high kill shelter totally skin and bones. His foster mom communicated Bruno must have survived on tree limbs and bark as he was always trying to find sticks in the grass to eat. It appears Bruno was on his own and scavenging for quite some time without food. Bruno gets along well with other dogs, but because he was starved, does not like to share food. He is otherwise very sweet, playful, friendly and well mannered. He attaches himself to a human and wants to be with you every second. He will stand between your legs for safety and wants to be held and kissed. Bruno loves to play with children! At adoption events he is just thrilled when a child wants to play with him - would make a wonderful family dog! He currently lives with feline companions at his foster mom's house and does well with them. He loves treats and appreciates anything you give him. So happy to be a loved rescue dog! Bruno is fully vetted, neutered, micro-chipped and ready to meet his fur-ever family! Bruno's adoption fee is $250. All UnderDogs are spayed/neutered, heartworm checked, microchipped, up to date on vaccines and heartworm/flea/tick preventatives.
