BEBE is precious, there's no doubt about that. She's a 7 lb., orange-sable Pomeranian who is as sweet as a little dog can be. She was given to us by a rural breeder who didn't need her anymore, but their loss is going to be some lucky family's gain! She has a gray face, which is deceiving, because her story and our vet's opinion match - she is 6-7 years old. She was so flea bitten and scrappy-looking when we got her, though (that's what constant itching will do), that her coat was trimmed down and it can grow back in evenly now. She came to us fully housetrained, gets along great with other dogs (of course), loves to be cuddled and get tummy rubs at bedtime, and is crate-trained if you feel you have a reason to put her in one. I trust her completely, so she sleeps on a doggie pillow beside our bed at night. She rides quietly in the car (usually napping), LOVES to meet new people, doesn't mind being left behind if you have to go out without her, and rarely barks. BEBE was never taken out for walks, though, so she's learning to enjoy the neighborhood on a leash. We were told that a hip was broken a few years ago when she was stepped on by one of their bigger dogs, but that she had a successful surgery and she healed very well. She walks and scampers around just fine, but it would be a good idea for her to get a glucosamine supplement daily from now on (it's very affordable and she is crazy about the jerky kind). This little chow hound LOVES to eat, and will need a family who won't be weakened by those pleading eyes when she empties her bowl so quickly. She can stand on her hind legs and hop like a jack rabbit when it's time for meals or supplements, and when she's doing her best to convince me that she might just die right on my kitchen floor if I don't do something about it, I'll give her carrot slices. (She enjoys other fruits and vegetables, too!) She's a very polite little lady, and doesn't try to snitch from the other dogs, pester us during our meals or beg us for things she shouldn't have. BEBE is generally very obedient, but can be stubborn too, at times, if she has it in her head that she doesn't want to participate. She has a very matter-of-fact attitude, and meets life head-on. She's not timid, fearful, clingy, or insecure. She's got a lot of moxy for such a tiny thing, and will EASILY slip right into her new family. If this is the little angel you've been hoping to find, you really should fill out an application soon. Funny, sweet, lovable, she-babies like BEBE just don't come along that often. Her adoption fee is 250. All UnderDogs are spayed/neutered, heartworm checked, microchipped, up to date on vaccines and heartworm/flea/tick preventatives.
