Anyone who meets this little guy is in for a really good time! Syrus is a party boy who LOVES to play with toys, play with people, play with other dogs, play with cats, anyone who likes to have fun. (Since most cats don't appreciate zippy, playful dogs, a home without any would probably be best.) He is always cheerful, eager to please, and has very nice manners. He knows "Sit" and if you tell him to go "Night-night" he scampers off to bed on his own. He likes having his crate door open during the day so he can go there when he needs a quiet nap. He is crazy about the back yard, and makes himself busy rolling in the grass or exploring every bush and corner when he's out on potty breaks and playtimes. We plucked Syrus from an area shelter and zipped him off to the vet to be neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm tested (he was negative), given a dental and he's now on flea/heartworm preventatives. He's an adorable, 5-yr-old, brown/white Chihuahua, and only weighs 6 lbs. He has a blind right eye, but it causes no pain and the vet advised us to leave it alone. Syrus gets along great with everyone he meets after a quick introduction and is wonderful with my 1 year old and four year old children. Syrus gets along well with other dogs (except around food or chew toys), but he absolutely adores human company and would be just as happy being an only child. Syrus is a wonderful little boy, who has been with us far too long. He needs his very own loving home for the holidays. You will adore him and he will be sure to let you know that the sun rises and sets with you. Adoption fee is $200. All UnderDogs are spayed/neutered, heartworm checked, microchipped, up to date on vaccines and heartworm/flea/tick preventatives. Our application process: FIRST, an application must be approved for adoption from our rescue. SECOND, we determine whether the dog that has been applied for is a "good match" for the household that wants to adopt him/her. We take into consideration the dog's activity level, compatibility with other members of the household (human and other pets), etc. If your application has been approved, but the dog you applied for is no longer available, please take the time and look over our adoptable dogs again.
