As this is a Family Home NOT an "Open-to-the-Public" Facility, All Visits Are By Appointment Only as We Come & Go Due to Errands & Job Committments. Please Call for Directions and To Set Up An Appointment, 941-750-xxxx. Our Schedule is Pretty Flexible and Every Effort Will Be Made for Convenience to Adopters - Normally Available Noon to 8 pm 7 Days a Week. A Phone Interview is Required to Start the Adoption Process and All Decision-Making Family Members Must Be Present for the Visit with the Chosen Animal. Due to liability issues with the abused horses/animals walking around on the premises no drop bys or kennel walk-throughs are permitted. Visits are done upfront "one-on-one" in a quiet, safe, for adopters and all the animals on the premises, area. NO EXCEPTIONS.
ADOPTION DONATIONS help pay for emergency vet bills, shots, worming, spaying/neutering, microchipping, coggins for horses, food, shelter, transportation, transfer fees to save them from high-kill shelters or auctions, heartworm testing and monthly prevention. Some animals require more money and time from sicknesses or some are unadoptable and need care for life. The Sanctuary needs all the donations an animal is able to bring in as the money is used for ALL the animals to provide the above services. While vet care is provided at reduced rates thanks to generous vets that work with us, it still is expensive!
